Our New SandBox

My mom and my older sister Julie and I went to some garage sales while I was in Kansas. I was so annoyed that I couldn't buy stuff but I did end up buying a few things. One big purchase was a sandbox and I kinda bought it knowing that I probably couldn't get it home. They had such smoking good deals out there. The sandbox was only 5.00 yep I know how could I pass that up. Lucky me my little sister is coming here for the summer and she is bringing it in her truck. I'm so excited. We did use it while we were there and Jordan loved it. I can't wait to fill it back up and let hime go to town.

Bowling

While we were in Kansas we also went bowling which was a lot cheaper than Cedar. Jordan was busy as usual and he really loved it. We went with my little sister Amy, her boyfriend Josh, Elizabeth and Hannah and Tony. We had fun but trust me one game was plenty I really didn't think the kids would ever finish their game. At first the kids where just trying to throw the ball down the lane on their own and then we got smart and asked for one of those ramps. Oh and you know we always have at least one bad thing happen everywhere we go so Jordan ran down the lane and slipped and fell. He got about half way down the lane before he fell and I had to venture out there to go get him and boy are those lanes slippery!

The Airport

Getting to Kansas was a huge challenge for me. I will NEVER do it alone again. Jordan was fine in the airport I had the stroller and toys but on the plane was a different story. On the way to Kansas he slept most of the way but still cried a lot on the plane. It's so embarrassing when your on a small plane crammed with people and your little boy is screaming bloody murder in their ear and kicking the people sitting next to you. There was seriously nothing I could do but hold him tight and try everything to calm him down. Eventually he bit the dust from exhaustion. On the way home however, he was 10 times worse he cried pretty much the entire time and loud. The people next to me were foreigners :( The wife was singing in German to try to calm him down and the stewardess was waving a card to try to cool him down. I was about ready to cry and jump off the plane at the same time. Jordan finally fell asleep 3 minutes before we were to get off the plane. GO FIGURE. One guy said "I have a 9 month old and my wife has to fly with him alone next week and I'm starting to wonder if it's a good idea." Another lady came up to me after we got off the plane and said "Is this the little guy that screamed the whole way? Poor little fella" How embarrassing.

Playing in the Sand

So as most of you know Jordan and I traveled to Kansas to visit my family. We had a lot of fun besides a few kinks here and there. Jordan's favorite part of the trip was playing in the sand. Every morning he would go to the back door and cry to go outside and play in the sand. He really had fun playing with his other cousins for a change too. I was amazed at how much Hannah is like Jordan. They were so much alike I guess Jordan gets his spunk from my side. He is such a Handful.

Our trip to Salt Lake!

We went up to Salt Lake like I said in my previous Post and we ended up doing a lot of fun things. We tested out our portable dvd which Jordan loved. He even kept the headsets on which was so cute. We also went to Cabelas to show Jordan the animals and the fish. He loves wildlife! Seriously he was in heaven. The Nights were a little rough because he was really sick but other than that he did ok. Then on Saturday Ashley and I went to some garage sales and we got some killer deals. I couldn't buy too much but I did get quite a few things. My favorite purchase was these little outdoor metal trucks for Jordan they were so old and adorable.

Jazz Game

Okay Here goes the first catch up post! Be prepared there is a ton of stuff! So about 3 weeks ago we went up North to go to my very first Jazz game! Josh and Ashley were kind enough to watch our little monster while we went. It was so much fun to get away as a couple without Jordan. We of course were up in the nose bleed section but it was still so much fun. Before the game we went and sat down at the bottom and got some shots of Kyle Korver shooting he is so gorgeous. I think he is even better looking in person! Thanks Josh and Ashley for watching Jordan we owe you big time!
