Thanks Everyone!

I just wanted to thank everyone for their comments they helped more than you know. We are still sticking with the plan of letting him cry himself to sleep. He is still having a rough time and this is our 4th night. I hope and pray that it gets better. I know I haven't been blogging much and the reason why is I have been super busy. I am in the Young womens now so that takes up a lot of my time. I also am doing daycare for extra income and I am in the process of getting my license to make more money. I have to teach this sunday, give a sacrament talk the sunday after that plus squeeze in my visiting teaching and go to St. George for an orientation for daycare. Anyway it's been crazy non the less.

I will keep everyone updated about Jordan's sleeping progress.

crying, crying and MORE crying

So tonight I have been really strong and stuck with putting Jordan in his own bed to go to sleep. It has been so hard and I feel like crying myself listening to him. I have seriously tried this a million times and I always end up going to get him. He is so head strong like his dad. It has been 1 hour and a half so far not consectuetly
but still that is a long time. I decided to get on here and write to relieve some stress while I listen to him cry in the background.

I don't know if I should really let him cry it out or not but I do know the more I change my mind the worse the situation gets. I really need some advice here so every ones input would be nice.

I have tried music, night lights, music boxes on the side of his crib that play a scene on the ceiling, bottles which is a whole other nightmare, and standing in there to comfort him. I have also tried the 5 minutes of crying and then comforting cycle all of which has miserably failed! I am at my wits end I swear!!

Bubbles are delicious

Apparently bubbles are delicious because Jordan loves to eat them. I recorded a video of him in the bath because my mom loves to see video's of him on here. She is so far away and I want her to feel that she is a part of Jordan's life. So this one's for you mom. My mom gave Jordan his very first bath when we got home from the hospital so bath time is special for them. Well here it is how much he has grown since that little newborn.

Jordan's first Haircut

I finally worked up the nerve to use the clippers on Jordan's hair. He took it very well and really just wanted the clippers to explore and then put in his mouth. I finihed up and really could have done a better job but he didn't exactly hold still very well. He got his turn holding the clippers at the end. He is so handsome with his new haircut but in a way it made me sort of sad that my little baby is getting older.

Stink bugging it!

So since Jordan has figured out how to roll really well he has been wanting to sleep on his tummy. This paticular night he was having a really hard time falling asleep so suprise he slept in our bed and he fell asleep stink bugging it as Nate would call it. haha It was so stinkin cute I took a bunch of pictures. I remember as a little girl I used to sleep like this and it really is comfortable.

Twinkie Time

We gave Jordan his first Twinkie, I know healthy right. Well he enjoyed it and I have a feeling we will be giving him Twinkies in the future. Here are some funny pictures of him and his beloved Twinkie.

Rockin' Baby

Jordan is starting to show interest in crawling. He gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth then moves his hands a couple times then flops down on the ground. He is learning so many things and getting such a cute little personality. He already has had a few casualties like falling off the bed, and falling down while trying to pull himself up on things. I can't believe how big he is getting here is a video of him trying to crawl.
