Sugar Cookies:)

I have had a lot of requests for my sugar cookie recipe so I thought I would just post it on our blog. They are quite delicious so give them a try.

Mix:
4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Cut into flour mixture:
1 c. butter

In seperate bowl beat:
2 eggs

Then add to the eggs:
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. milk

*The dough will be sticky I just add a little extra flour until I can roll it into a ball just be careful not to add to much flour or they will be dry.

Mix liguid with flour mixture. Chill overnight in a sealed container. (I use a ziploc bag)Bake at 375 degrees for only 10 minutes.

Sleepy Heads

Today after all my daycare left Nate and Jordan were so exhausted they both fell asleep on our bed. It was so precious I just had to take a picture of it. They are the two cutest boys I know.

OOey GOOey

One week Jordan could just not go to the bathroom. He was miserable to say the least. He was waking up in the night and crying trying to push it out. I knew we had to do something but I was at a loss at what to do. I finally got an idea of feeding him some prunes which he does actually like. The only problem that I had was he will NOT let me feed him anything he always has to do it himself. Well I tried all morning to shove those prunes down him but he absolutely refused. I got so frustrated with the whole situation and dumped the whole bottle of prunes on his tray and let him go at it. Well these pictures are living proof of the result of my desperation. I have never seen such a mess in my life but I'm sure there is more to come. Oh and he did finally go to the bathroom shortly after eating those messy prunes ha ha go figure.

Hikers Heaven

Nate, Jason and Laine went to go help Josh get his elk out of the mountains. I guess they hiked forever and never did find it. I'm pretty sure that they were absolutley exhausted when they were done with it all. It really sucks that Josh didn't end up killing anything with that once in a lifetime tag but I know with all the hunting he does he is bound to get one sometime. Here are some pictures of our mountain men.

8 Months & Crawling

Jordan turned 8 months yesterday! I seriously can't believe it, he is such a cute little kid. He is crawling now all over the place and getting into everything. I have had to put some of my cute decorations up and away because I can't keep up with him. He has such a cute personality and is a very determined little boy. He never gives up on things and works on it until he figures it out. He loves the doors on our entertainment center and is always opening and shutting them. (I hope he grows out of that phase soon). I took a video of him crawling down the hall I hope you all enjoy :)

Picture Perfect!

We just got Jordan's seven month pictures back. When we got the pictures taken he was such a ham. He was so good and it seriously only took 15 minutes because he was just cheezin' it the whole time. Here they are so take a peek!

Update

I just thought I would let everyone know the progress with Jordan. He is doing a lot better and has been sleeping through the night mostly. He does wake up about once to nurse and then we put him right back to bed and he doesn't put up a fight. He is still crying when we put him in at first but not as long as when we first started. He seems like a much happier baby now. I'm glad that I stuck with it. Last night he slept from 8:30 until 9:00 the next day. yahoo
