Christmas Cards

So I have been a humbug this year and so has Nate. I am just miserable and it's really all I can do to finish my shopping and get excited for the holiday as it is soooo I'm sorry to report we didn't get a family picture done and I'm not sending out Christmas Cards. I even did a lazy neighborhood gift this year and haven't baked one thing. Wow and to top it off Nate decided not to put up our Christmas lights so yeah we are kinda humbugs this year but I promise next year we will do Christmas cards and Christmas baking and Christmas lights but this year crept up on us too soon I guess. I do want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and we are thankful for all of our friends and family who continually support and love us throughout the year.

A BIG fat Nothin'

Well I had my appointment today and I was so disappointed. I know I still have 4 weeks left but with all the drama I had so early on I thought for sure this baby would be coming early. I got checked today and you guessed it a big fat nothin is whats happening. I think now she will go over just like little Jordan did. I am so sick of being pregnant and to think I still have at least 4 weeks left is a lot annoying. The only person who is remotely happy about this verdict is Nate... He wants her to come on her due date because of how healthy Jordan was being overdue. I know hes right and its best for her to stay in there as long as possible but he also isn't carrying around a basketball. Well anyway so if you see me and I'm ornery that's probably the reason why.

Toy Organizer

I did the rest of my Christmas shopping in St. George Thursday and bought a toy organizer at target. It wasn't for Christmas but it was on sale and I got it for a steal. I have wanted this organizer for Jordan's room for forever but I was late on getting it on sale and it went back up to 60.00 dollars. I waited and waited and waited but it never would go on sale so I kinda gave up on it. Then I had planned a trip to go get the rest of my Christmas shopping done and my mother-in-law mentioned that the organizer was on sale again YAY!! I think I was more excited about that than anything else which is totally sad. Anyway I LOVE it and it couldn't have come at a better time than now. I have room for all his toys and his new toys he will be getting for Christmas and I can now go through them and give his old toys that he doesn't play with and put them in the basement for the baby. Not to mention the baby will be using his old toy bin which I was excited about too. WOW I can't believe how excited I got over this thing haha

Train Set

So awhile back I got this darling little train set for 25 Cents at the school I work at. They were having a yard sale and I got to pick stuff out early because I was leaving town and I helped set it up. Jordan loves it and I love it too. I bet if you bought it new it would cost a small fortune. Well we moved our coffee table out of our living room and I love it so much! I feel like Jordan actually has room to play now I have to convince Nate that we should just put it downstairs for good until we finish the basement. Well anyway back to the train we set it up in our now spacious play zone and we had a blast.

Visiting the North Pole

Well as most everyone in Cedar with children did we also went to the storybook parade and the heritage center to see Santa Claus. I went to the parade last year and the year before and I just never get sick of it. It is by far the best parade we have all year and this year was especially fun because Jordan actually recognized some of the characters. We actually went to the Heritage Center earlier that week which was wonderful because there was no one there and then again after the parade. Here are some fun pictures of my cute little Jordan!

The battle of the baba

Well today I had just had enough with the baba!!!! Jordan has stopped eating completely and only wanted a BOTTLE. I decided that I was through and I'm so glad I made the decision to take the baba away. The first part of the day was very hard and I almost had a breakdown but toward the end of the day he was a whole new kid. When I got home from work he asked ONE time and I reminded him that there were no more babas and they were all gone and showed him the empty cupboard. To my surprise he was totally fine with it and then asked for a drink of water which I put into a sippy cup and he DRANK IT!! I couldn't believe it then I prepared myself for the grueling bedtime and to my surprise again he cried for a minute and just went right to bed and is now asleep and has been since 8:30. WOW I'm in total shock right now but I am not holding my breath. We also decided since we were battling the baba we might as well just put water in his sippy cups instead of juice so it doesn't rot his teeth Which he doesn't seem to mind at all. Maybe by the time the baby gets here I will have learned a thing or two and she will be easier. Keeping my fingers crossed.
