Sunny Days, Burger King, and Mommy and Me Class

Just to give you an idea at what we have been up to... You know that ONE day that was warm yeah you know that ONE well we went to the park with the cousins and had a blast. There was this open field and Jordan just ran for most of the time. He didn't really care to much about the play equipment go figure. Then the other day we went to Burger King and Jordan got his very first little king hat. Nothing really that special but he thought it was so cool. Last but not least we went to a mommy and me class that my friend Mary's sister put on and Jordan had a blast. He really enjoyed it and so did I. I learned lots of cool things to do with Jordan and best of all they all include music. We even got a cute CD to take home with instructions on the activities to go with them. I wish I would have gotten pictures but we were too busy dancing. I just got one on the way home. So Sleepy.

Goofy!

Jordan and I have been so bored today. I can't remember a more lazy boring day. I think it has a lot to do with our upcoming vacation. I know that sounds silly but I am so excited to go home and see my family. Another special thing I'm looking forward to is my little sisters graduation. I rememeber my graduation and her being there I even have a picture of us together. I have been working on a special gift for her and I know she will love it. I also can't wait to see my best friend Breanne and go to lunch with her. I will be there for Mothers Day too so it will be extra special to be able to share that with my mom. It's also Jordan's FIRST time to Grandma and Grandpa Terrys house. Well anyway while we were bored we took some fun pictures. Jordan is such a little goof! Enjoy!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter Everyone! We had a wonderful time at Church today listening to all the testimonies. The spirit was so strong and in Sharing time the lesson was so good! She had a Easter Basket full of eggs and inside each egg was a scripture pertaining to Christ's Resurrection and a small item such as a nail or piece of soap. It was so good to be able to listen to that story again and remember why we truly celebrate Easter.

After being spiritually fed we headed out to Kristen's house to have dinner with Nate's whole family. Nate's brother Josh and his wife Ashley were even there. We had turkey, ham, mashed potatos and gravy, stuffing, corn, rolls, salad, raspberry jello, and my favorite strawberry cream cheese cake YUM! Then we headed to Nate's parents house for the big Easter Egg hunt and hung out and talked. The kids had so much fun and got the cutest Easter bag full of fun toys and candy and a book. It's always crazy when we are all there but it's all worth it.

Oh I almost forgot the Easter Bunny did come to our house and hide real eggs and left Jordan a lot of Easter treats! He had so much fun finding those eggs more than the plastic ones. He gets kinda distracted with the plastic ones because they open. We got it all on film and he was seriously so excited. To see that look on his face when we got him out of his crib and all the way down the hall into the living room just with a perma grin was worth all the work it was to dye those eggs! It was a moment I will never forget.

Saturday Fun

Today we went to the Enoch easter egg hunt at the city offices. It was so much fun watching Jordan collect the eggs. It makes me excited to more years to come. He just thought it was the coolest thing ever. I was also excited that Nate was able to come today and sad he missed out on everything else. After the easter egg hunt we went home and got ready for the day and then went to lunch at that new mexican restaurant Mi Pablo by Dairy Queen. They had really good food and lucky for us Grandpa Laine payed which was so nice of him. Then we dropped the kids off for a nap (which Jordan never fell for) and headed up town to look around at easter decorations. After we hung out around town I picked Jordan up and headed home to get the poor kid a nap. I cleaned my house and listened to Jordan cry and NO he never did take a nap. After a long battle I gave up on the nap and the cousins came over to dye easter eggs so the Easter Bunny can hide them. Jordan didn't really understand it and just wanted to eat everything but he got the hang of it after a while. Then the tuckered out little boy had dinner and a bath and went night night. Thank goodness for Bedtime because I have to teach my first CTR 8 lesson tommorrow and I need to go over my lesson. Ahh what an exhausting day!
