3 weeks to Go!

Well People I have 3 weeks left and I really feel NOTHING going on. I seriously don't even feel close to having a baby. It's so weird really. I felt like I was going to deliver anyday with Jordan the last 3 weeks and with this one I feel like I could go another 2 months physically but not emotionally believe me You can just ask Nate about that one. Well I will keep everyone posted I go in for another appointment in a week. Wish me Luck!

Christmas Cards

So I have been a humbug this year and so has Nate. I am just miserable and it's really all I can do to finish my shopping and get excited for the holiday as it is soooo I'm sorry to report we didn't get a family picture done and I'm not sending out Christmas Cards. I even did a lazy neighborhood gift this year and haven't baked one thing. Wow and to top it off Nate decided not to put up our Christmas lights so yeah we are kinda humbugs this year but I promise next year we will do Christmas cards and Christmas baking and Christmas lights but this year crept up on us too soon I guess. I do want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and we are thankful for all of our friends and family who continually support and love us throughout the year.

A BIG fat Nothin'

Well I had my appointment today and I was so disappointed. I know I still have 4 weeks left but with all the drama I had so early on I thought for sure this baby would be coming early. I got checked today and you guessed it a big fat nothin is whats happening. I think now she will go over just like little Jordan did. I am so sick of being pregnant and to think I still have at least 4 weeks left is a lot annoying. The only person who is remotely happy about this verdict is Nate... He wants her to come on her due date because of how healthy Jordan was being overdue. I know hes right and its best for her to stay in there as long as possible but he also isn't carrying around a basketball. Well anyway so if you see me and I'm ornery that's probably the reason why.

Toy Organizer

I did the rest of my Christmas shopping in St. George Thursday and bought a toy organizer at target. It wasn't for Christmas but it was on sale and I got it for a steal. I have wanted this organizer for Jordan's room for forever but I was late on getting it on sale and it went back up to 60.00 dollars. I waited and waited and waited but it never would go on sale so I kinda gave up on it. Then I had planned a trip to go get the rest of my Christmas shopping done and my mother-in-law mentioned that the organizer was on sale again YAY!! I think I was more excited about that than anything else which is totally sad. Anyway I LOVE it and it couldn't have come at a better time than now. I have room for all his toys and his new toys he will be getting for Christmas and I can now go through them and give his old toys that he doesn't play with and put them in the basement for the baby. Not to mention the baby will be using his old toy bin which I was excited about too. WOW I can't believe how excited I got over this thing haha

Train Set

So awhile back I got this darling little train set for 25 Cents at the school I work at. They were having a yard sale and I got to pick stuff out early because I was leaving town and I helped set it up. Jordan loves it and I love it too. I bet if you bought it new it would cost a small fortune. Well we moved our coffee table out of our living room and I love it so much! I feel like Jordan actually has room to play now I have to convince Nate that we should just put it downstairs for good until we finish the basement. Well anyway back to the train we set it up in our now spacious play zone and we had a blast.

Visiting the North Pole

Well as most everyone in Cedar with children did we also went to the storybook parade and the heritage center to see Santa Claus. I went to the parade last year and the year before and I just never get sick of it. It is by far the best parade we have all year and this year was especially fun because Jordan actually recognized some of the characters. We actually went to the Heritage Center earlier that week which was wonderful because there was no one there and then again after the parade. Here are some fun pictures of my cute little Jordan!

The battle of the baba

Well today I had just had enough with the baba!!!! Jordan has stopped eating completely and only wanted a BOTTLE. I decided that I was through and I'm so glad I made the decision to take the baba away. The first part of the day was very hard and I almost had a breakdown but toward the end of the day he was a whole new kid. When I got home from work he asked ONE time and I reminded him that there were no more babas and they were all gone and showed him the empty cupboard. To my surprise he was totally fine with it and then asked for a drink of water which I put into a sippy cup and he DRANK IT!! I couldn't believe it then I prepared myself for the grueling bedtime and to my surprise again he cried for a minute and just went right to bed and is now asleep and has been since 8:30. WOW I'm in total shock right now but I am not holding my breath. We also decided since we were battling the baba we might as well just put water in his sippy cups instead of juice so it doesn't rot his teeth Which he doesn't seem to mind at all. Maybe by the time the baby gets here I will have learned a thing or two and she will be easier. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Randomness

These are just some random pictures of Jordan playing on Thanksgiving morning I thought were cute. He loves my Nativity set particularly the cow and donkey. I think I might need to get him his own little set I think he would really love to play with it. Also him playing with his little stacking toys I forget what they are called but he loves them.

It's beginning to look a lot like...

CHRISTMAS at our house! I never hesitate to put up Christmas decorations and usually get it done right after Thanksgiving. I LOVE to decorate for Christmas probably because my mom always did such a good job and it seemed like it filled our home with coziness and excitement for the upcoming Christmas cheer... you know neighborhood gifts, Christmas cookies, candy canes, music and of course Christmas itself. Well once I put up all my decor I realized that I need more so that means saving my money for the after Christmas sales YAY! My living room looks pretty festive but I'm lacking big time in the rest of the house you will see in the pictures. We also got a snow storm which everyone knows and while I love snow storms having satellite can be a bummer so Nate had to go outside with the broom and ladder and of course Jordan got on his gear to help daddy. He is so stinkin cute and LOVES the SNOW!!

Thanksgiving

This year we did the usual and went to Nates family for Thanksgiving. I kinda get bummed that we never get to go visit my side but they live too far away not to mention Nate can't get work off for that long. I am however grateful that we have Nates family close by so that we aren't all alone. The cousins always have so much fun together too. Nate side has a lot of kids so it makes for a hectic and interesting adventure on the holidays but in a good way. I did get some pictures but I will be honest I'm HORRIBLE at taking pictures lately I really am going to regret it I know. We had a wonderful yummy dinner with FREE refills from KB and watched 4 christmases after dinner which was hilarious! It was a fun day.

Garretts Wedding

This weekend we went up north to Garrett's (Nate's Cousin) Wedding. It was so much fun to see everyone I just love his family they are so nice and almost everyone lives up there. We stayed with his Dads brother and wife. Their house is so nice and they were so hospitable toward us. They really made us feel right at home. The wedding was beautiful with red, black and white and a Christmas type feeling to it. The food was delicious and the cake was to die for. It had chocolate covered strawberries all over it. YUM. After the wedding was over and we got some much needed sleep we headed over to Josh and Ashley's house. We helped clean out their garage and other projects Josh needed to tackle. It actually was a lot of fun and I loved being able to spend time with little Alli. I am also happy to report Alli and Jordan are getting along better YAY! Nate's parents took us all out to lunch and afterward the guys took the KIDS and went to cabelas while we did some shopping yes on Sunday! We are Bad. It was a lot of fun all in all and it was so good to see everyone.

Last Ultrasound

Today we went to the last ultrasound we will have for the baby. It was so much fun to see her in there and this time she looked normal haha. I decided to share the picture so all of you can get a sneak peak of our little girl! Jordan even recognized her as a baby this time haha. Anyway she weighs 3.7 pounds as of right now and at 30 weeks thats pretty chubby I guess. Jordan weighed 4 pounds at 34 weeks and was 7 pounds 8 oz. when he was born so I hope she isn't too much bigger.

OUr SpOOktACkulAr fUn!

This Halloween was a blast. Jordan was so into it I can't wait for next year. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays so I was pretty excited. I also got my camera back ya! Nate unfortunately didn't get a spike elk but he is going again on Thursday and Friday. Jordan was a skunk this year and on the butt it says lil stinker it turned out pretty cute. Friday the guys were still out hunting so us girls took the kids out to my sister-in-laws ward party. They served dinner and had tons of games and prizes for the kids. It was so much fun and Jordan LOVES his cousins. Zack and Jordan played sword fight with their sword balloons and of course enjoyed the cookies. Then we went to 3 peaks carnival which was fun but I think I could have done without. Saturday we went to our neighborhood get together and enjoyed delicious food and snacks and trunk or treating WAY FUN! I love to get together with all my neighbors. Then we stopped by Grandmas house, Great Grandmas house, Brittany's parents house, and my Aunt Jane's house then went home. It was a lot of fun!

Pumpkin Party

Yesterday Jordan and I had a pumpkin party. I plan on doing it every year with him until he gets too old for it:) This year Kyla his little friend was able to join us. We had sooo much fun. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures because Nate is on his elk hunt and took our only camera and camcorder. Here is our special day together.... We painted pumpkins with washable paint, painted leave cutouts on card stock paper with Karo syrup and food coloring ( these turned out soo cute), we made Halloween sugar cookies, and caramel apples with nuts. After Kyla left we made rice crispy treats for Nate's boy scout troop and hopped in the car to deliver our treats. We had just as much fun delivering to our friends and family as we did making them. It was fun to chat with people and play in the snow with Jordan's new snow boots. After that we headed to wal-mart and got a pizza and a movie. We had popcorn, pizza and watched a movie where Jordan fell asleep on the couch. I love spending days with my bugga boo. I had more fun than I could have imagined thanks Jordan!

Swine Flu Shots!

Jordan and I finally got our swine flu shots which I am super excited about. I can't wait until Nate is able to get one and then I won't worry as much. I went to get mine at the health department today and got there at 8:30 and ended up leaving at 10:30 it was quite the wait and I'm glad Jordan wasn't with me the entire time he would have been a nightmare. Joanne actually brought him up once I was about to recieve the shot which was a lifesaver. Anyway we have to go back in one month for the rest of the shot but other than that we are good:)

Hair Bows

Ok so many of you know I have been making bows for the baby and I LOVE doing it. I don't really want to get into selling them or anything but when I make them I have sooo much leftover ribbon and it is such a waste. I have found myself making tons of bows that the baby will not be able to wear half of them but I have just been trying to use up the ribbon. I started making these flower ribbon bows and to make them I have to buy the whole thing of ribbon. I decided to help pay for some of the ribbon I would just make and sell that style of bow to my friends for really cheap. So if anyone wants a bow like these let me know I am going to sell them for 2.00 each. Also I will post pictures of the bows I have available and if you want you can mix and match the colors. I will let you know if I don't have enough ribbon. I also will be getting cuter middle pieces and I am really excited about the christmas one I will be making so check back to see that one.
