The Bachelor Finale

Ok so I haven't really been into The Bachelor but I was invited to my Brittany's house to watch the finale. It was so much fun even though my son kinda got malled by one of the litte girls there haha. I was surprised at how much I got into it. It's actually a really good show now I wish I had watched the entire show. I guessed Melissa which is the girl he chose but then I heard that he changed his mind... I haven't seen that part and I really would be shocked. Someone fill me in on that because we had it recorded and didn't watch the after the rose finale. Anyway I had a lot of fun hanging out with friends eating brownies, and Rootbeer floats. Thanks Britt!

Soooo sick of little sickly

Well today has officially been day 6 of Jordan being sick and I am sooo tired of his little attitude. I have really tried to be patient with him because he is sick but I'm not going to lie and say its been an easy task. We finally took him to the doctor on Friday and found out he has a double ear infection and one ear was on the verge of bursting. They put him on Amoxicillion (I'm sure that word is misspelled) for ten days twice daily. He had two doses yesterday and one this morning and then......

Yep you guessed it, stupid me left it on the coffee table and he got into it and dumped it all over the living room carpet ahhhh. I just wanted to scream and I think I actually did. Luckily it wasn't that expensive but we did have to call the on call doctor because it was Saturday. soooo my little sickly needs to loose his attitude and start feeling better.

Curse the Croupe!

Jordan caught the stupid bug that has been traveling around. He woke up with a croupey cough and has had a fever for 3 days now. He won't eat, sleep, or drink and basically just follows me around and crys all day long. I am ready to commit myself seriously. So all of you beware of the croupe its going around.

Spoon Feeding

We went to St. George on Saturday which was a blast. Before we went I fixed Jordan some oatmeal for Breakfast. He never has really eaten Oatmeal because he refuses to let me feed him so I always have to come up with food ideas that he can pick up with his fingers. I noticed lately he has really perfected his ability to use the spoon so I decided to let him spoon feed himself the oatmeal. Take a look at the outcome.

Jordans new Big Boy bedding

Today Nate and I went to Big Lots for the first time since it opened. I was really excited to have somewhere else to shop besides Wal-Mart. We got a phone for the inside of our garage and were headed to the checkout and I said hey we didn't look over in this section. Nate was kinda annoyed but he came along anyway and I stumbled upon this great buy. I have been searching for big boy bedding for Jordan's room forever. I know he doesn't need it yet but as hard as it was to find his crib bedding I decided to start early. I swear there is just no cute boy stuff out there. I put it on our spare bed to see what it looked like and I still have a lot of stuff still to get like pillows and a dust ruffle. I am so excited to set it up for real in like a year ha ha.

So I was talking to my aunt on the phone yesterday and Jordan was being very quiet but I didn't think much of it because Nate was at home. I just kept talking and then I heard Nate say uh Honey.. I was like oh no what did Jordan do... I then heard Jordan say Uh Oh. I got off the phone and this is the surprise I got when I walked out of the spare bedroom....

Corndogs and Ketchup

Today Jordan had his very first corndog with ketchup. I got really brave today I guess. He loved it and just dipped the corndog pieces and his fingers in the ketchup with such a cute little grin on his face. I love making him happy and being able to share all the little and simple pleasures in his life. I know another little one is probably getting closer even though I'm not ready and that has made me want to cherish every little moment I have with my little man.
