The battle of the baba

Well today I had just had enough with the baba!!!! Jordan has stopped eating completely and only wanted a BOTTLE. I decided that I was through and I'm so glad I made the decision to take the baba away. The first part of the day was very hard and I almost had a breakdown but toward the end of the day he was a whole new kid. When I got home from work he asked ONE time and I reminded him that there were no more babas and they were all gone and showed him the empty cupboard. To my surprise he was totally fine with it and then asked for a drink of water which I put into a sippy cup and he DRANK IT!! I couldn't believe it then I prepared myself for the grueling bedtime and to my surprise again he cried for a minute and just went right to bed and is now asleep and has been since 8:30. WOW I'm in total shock right now but I am not holding my breath. We also decided since we were battling the baba we might as well just put water in his sippy cups instead of juice so it doesn't rot his teeth Which he doesn't seem to mind at all. Maybe by the time the baby gets here I will have learned a thing or two and she will be easier. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Randomness

These are just some random pictures of Jordan playing on Thanksgiving morning I thought were cute. He loves my Nativity set particularly the cow and donkey. I think I might need to get him his own little set I think he would really love to play with it. Also him playing with his little stacking toys I forget what they are called but he loves them.

It's beginning to look a lot like...

CHRISTMAS at our house! I never hesitate to put up Christmas decorations and usually get it done right after Thanksgiving. I LOVE to decorate for Christmas probably because my mom always did such a good job and it seemed like it filled our home with coziness and excitement for the upcoming Christmas cheer... you know neighborhood gifts, Christmas cookies, candy canes, music and of course Christmas itself. Well once I put up all my decor I realized that I need more so that means saving my money for the after Christmas sales YAY! My living room looks pretty festive but I'm lacking big time in the rest of the house you will see in the pictures. We also got a snow storm which everyone knows and while I love snow storms having satellite can be a bummer so Nate had to go outside with the broom and ladder and of course Jordan got on his gear to help daddy. He is so stinkin cute and LOVES the SNOW!!

Thanksgiving

This year we did the usual and went to Nates family for Thanksgiving. I kinda get bummed that we never get to go visit my side but they live too far away not to mention Nate can't get work off for that long. I am however grateful that we have Nates family close by so that we aren't all alone. The cousins always have so much fun together too. Nate side has a lot of kids so it makes for a hectic and interesting adventure on the holidays but in a good way. I did get some pictures but I will be honest I'm HORRIBLE at taking pictures lately I really am going to regret it I know. We had a wonderful yummy dinner with FREE refills from KB and watched 4 christmases after dinner which was hilarious! It was a fun day.

Garretts Wedding

This weekend we went up north to Garrett's (Nate's Cousin) Wedding. It was so much fun to see everyone I just love his family they are so nice and almost everyone lives up there. We stayed with his Dads brother and wife. Their house is so nice and they were so hospitable toward us. They really made us feel right at home. The wedding was beautiful with red, black and white and a Christmas type feeling to it. The food was delicious and the cake was to die for. It had chocolate covered strawberries all over it. YUM. After the wedding was over and we got some much needed sleep we headed over to Josh and Ashley's house. We helped clean out their garage and other projects Josh needed to tackle. It actually was a lot of fun and I loved being able to spend time with little Alli. I am also happy to report Alli and Jordan are getting along better YAY! Nate's parents took us all out to lunch and afterward the guys took the KIDS and went to cabelas while we did some shopping yes on Sunday! We are Bad. It was a lot of fun all in all and it was so good to see everyone.

Last Ultrasound

Today we went to the last ultrasound we will have for the baby. It was so much fun to see her in there and this time she looked normal haha. I decided to share the picture so all of you can get a sneak peak of our little girl! Jordan even recognized her as a baby this time haha. Anyway she weighs 3.7 pounds as of right now and at 30 weeks thats pretty chubby I guess. Jordan weighed 4 pounds at 34 weeks and was 7 pounds 8 oz. when he was born so I hope she isn't too much bigger.

OUr SpOOktACkulAr fUn!

This Halloween was a blast. Jordan was so into it I can't wait for next year. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays so I was pretty excited. I also got my camera back ya! Nate unfortunately didn't get a spike elk but he is going again on Thursday and Friday. Jordan was a skunk this year and on the butt it says lil stinker it turned out pretty cute. Friday the guys were still out hunting so us girls took the kids out to my sister-in-laws ward party. They served dinner and had tons of games and prizes for the kids. It was so much fun and Jordan LOVES his cousins. Zack and Jordan played sword fight with their sword balloons and of course enjoyed the cookies. Then we went to 3 peaks carnival which was fun but I think I could have done without. Saturday we went to our neighborhood get together and enjoyed delicious food and snacks and trunk or treating WAY FUN! I love to get together with all my neighbors. Then we stopped by Grandmas house, Great Grandmas house, Brittany's parents house, and my Aunt Jane's house then went home. It was a lot of fun!
