Saturday Fun

Today we went to the Enoch easter egg hunt at the city offices. It was so much fun watching Jordan collect the eggs. It makes me excited to more years to come. He just thought it was the coolest thing ever. I was also excited that Nate was able to come today and sad he missed out on everything else. After the easter egg hunt we went home and got ready for the day and then went to lunch at that new mexican restaurant Mi Pablo by Dairy Queen. They had really good food and lucky for us Grandpa Laine payed which was so nice of him. Then we dropped the kids off for a nap (which Jordan never fell for) and headed up town to look around at easter decorations. After we hung out around town I picked Jordan up and headed home to get the poor kid a nap. I cleaned my house and listened to Jordan cry and NO he never did take a nap. After a long battle I gave up on the nap and the cousins came over to dye easter eggs so the Easter Bunny can hide them. Jordan didn't really understand it and just wanted to eat everything but he got the hang of it after a while. Then the tuckered out little boy had dinner and a bath and went night night. Thank goodness for Bedtime because I have to teach my first CTR 8 lesson tommorrow and I need to go over my lesson. Ahh what an exhausting day!

Night Terrors

Jordan has been waking up out of a sound sleep and screaming. I think he is having night terrors and it breaks my heart. We go get him and then he just falls right back to sleep in our arms. He has been doing this a lot lately. Does anyone know how to get rid of them or do they just grow out of it?

A little bit this and that

I have been busy, busy, busy and it has been a lot of fun. It seems like I have finally been able to have some girl time with my friends. Last Saturday I went to St. George with my sister-in-law and we got some cute Easter outfits for our kids and some other random things. Then the following Friday I went to PF with some of my friends Brittany and Mary. It has been so fun to see old friends from Highschool lately I've really been missing out. We had fun chatting and enjoying yummy food. Then Last night I went to Brittany's house for BUNKO and had a blast. I met some new people and best of all I won the cutest wreath. It was fun to win something because I swear I never win anything. We also had delicious food there, soups, salads, rolls, and all kinds of treats. Thanks Brittany for everything I had a lot of fun.

Uh Oh We have a Climber

Well today we were just hanging out and relaxing in the office/spare bedroom. Jordan gets into EVERYTHING and while we were sitting there we took my cell phone, the house phone, and a pen away from him and put it on the bed. I recently put his picnic table he got for his birthday in there because I swear we are never going to build our deck due to the weather. He loves his picnic table by the way! Anyway the next thing I know he has climbed up the picnic table and in the process of climbing up the bed. Ahhh I'm not quite ready for all these new found skills. He recently learned how to open the closets and the pantry now he is CLIMBING, I don't know what I'm going to do. Well I think it might be getting close for a little brother. Who knows it might make things easier ha ha.

Corned Beef and Cabbage

I finally cooked Nate's favorite dinner..corned beef and cabbage. I was going to cook it for his birthday but never got around to it. We had it tonight and Nate pretty much engulfed it all. I think he was pretty excited he didn't have to share with his dad for the first time and he is excited to have leftovers. Nate and his dad used to fight over leftovers when he lived at home ha ha. That's kinda sad huh! Well Happy Late Birthday Dinner HONEY!! We love you.

Egg-stra Special

I am so excited for Easter. It is one of my favorite holidays. Its extra special this year because Jordan is now old enough to go egg hunting and enjoy his Easter basket. I just wanted to share some of the things we are planning for Easter....

I do hope everything turns out good even though there is bound to be a few kinks now and then. I have high expectations ha ha. The best part is Nate is off on Easter Sunday! YAY! The bad part is I have to teach in Primary. I will be sure to post lots of pictures though:)

Sometimes all you can do is..... LAUGH

I haven't blogged lately because NOTHING has happened. I swear I am going to commit myself if the wind and cold weather doesn't go away soon. I hate the wind and I am so ready for shorts and sandals. I'm all about the four seasons but this winter has been especially hard for me because of Jordan. He is so active and being cooped up in the house all day makes us both go crazy. With the weather the way it is and Jordan being so active we run into a lot of messes and here are a few I took pictures of just TODAY.. yes I know that's just a small portion of what my little tornado does through out the day. I don't know how I am going to juggle him and another one and NO we are not expecting.
